Returning Customers – Reserve Your Tree
$60.00
Returning customers only.
Welcome back! To get the same tree as last year, add this option to your cart and check out. We’ll match your details to your uniquely numbered tree to make sure it’s ready for you.
A few things to note:
- Don’t forget your discount code from the email to remove the security deposit.
- When you order, choose the market you’ll collect your tree from. We’ll bring your specific tree to that market – so please make sure you select the market you’ll be attending. (Your tree won’t be available at other markets.)
- Can’t make it to a market? No problem – get in touch with Shepherd Steve to arrange collection from our place in Bethlehem.

We ask for a deposit with every tree rental – it’s our way of making sure each tree comes back healthy, hydrated, and not looking like it spent New Year’s on the dance floor. When your tree returns safe and sound, we’ll refund your deposit within 4 weeks (or hold it if you’d like to lock in the same tree for next Christmas).
Note: If your tree comes back crispy, broken, or looking like it survived a drought, the deposit won’t be refunded. These trees take years to grow, so we treat them like family.
Check out our Terms & Conditions for more details.
Living Christmas trees grown with care
We care for all our trees in Tauranga, where they are potted, hand-trimmed and fertilised. This Christmas, go local, skip the waste, and enjoy the charm of a living potted tree.
New Zealand’s Finest Christmas Tree Hire
Love the idea of a real Christmas tree but not the year-round maintenance? We’ve got you covered!
Tree Shepherds is New Zealand’s only service where you can rent the same potted Christmas tree each year. Why not gift a living tree that grows alongside your whānau or business. Simply take it home for the festive season, then return it when the holidays are over. We’ll care for it all year, so you don’t have to.
Good for the planet, great for tradition, and way better than tossing a crispy tree in the bin.
